Nothing says Fall more than a visit to your local apple orchard with your nearest and dearest, but what do you do with all of them apples once you get home? Here is a delicious recipe for a healthier waffle that is as fabulous as it is made fresh for brunch, as it is defrosted in the toaster for a quick grab-n-go weekday breakfast.
I used spartan apples, but you can use any of your favourite varieties. For the oil in the batter, I used melted coconut oil, but feel free to sub in canola or vegetable oil. RH Teen Top Picks
My heart usually fills with dread every time I see a hefty catalog left on my doorstep. They are such outdated massive wastes of paper and even though I usually opt out of these types of mailings as soon as they arrive, they still seem to show up at my door from time to time.
When I opened up the latest catalogue yesterday I was surprised to see a Restoration Hardware Teen book. Pottery Barn has been killing it with their teen collections but a lot of the items don’t ship to Canada, so I was excited to see what RH had to offer. It’s certainly not cheap coming across the border these days with our crappy dollar and the automatic 20% shipping and duty fee that is added on top of that, but the process to order from RH is at least more streamlined.
I looked online at the collections and was very impressed with the look and design. Here are my top picks that transcend the label of “teen” and could happily live in any of my current client projects:
